Buildings change. Open-plan offices become cellular or a new tenant wants to change the office layout and lighting. Controls can be used to get the most out of the lighting in a building throughout its life.
Furniture shops and other out-of-town retail outlets are large spaces, often with high ceilings, sometimes with roof lights. Conventional spotlights or under-shelf lighting just won’t do because they don’t have sufficient light output. The challenge is to light a large space, to a decent level of illumination, and still make it attractive.
