P4 announces death of founder Peter Warner

THE LEADING emergency lighting specialist P4 has announced that its founder, Peter Warner, died suddenly on Monday 8 January following a suspected heart attack.

A well-known and respected figure in the UK emergency lighting Industry, Warner had set up P4 in 1989 with wife Maureen, known as Mo, who was with him at the time of his death.

Together Peter and Mo, later with assistance from son Rob, oversaw the growth of P4 to become the largest independent self-testing emergency lighting specialist in the UK. Rob Warner continues as managing director of P4, the role in which he has very successfully operated since appointment in 2006.

Peter Warner actively continued as CEO of P4 until controlling interest was sold to Swiss emergency lighting manufacturing group Polynom AG in September 2016.
