This year's Lux Awards will be hosted by BAFTA winning comedian and impressionist Alistair McGowan.
McGowan has been a regular on TV screens for years and is best known for hosting the BBC's hit comedy programme The Big Impression.
He has also been recognised for his many appearances on the West End stage. In his career to date he has appeared in Cabaret, The Mikado and Little Shop of Horrors, for which he was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.
The BAFTA winning The Big Impression was one of the BBC's flagship comedy programmes and McGowan became a household name for his spot-on impressions of David Beckham, Nicky Campbell, Richard Madeley, Tony Blair and Prince Charles.
McGowan is also a regular guest host on the BBC's satirical news quiz Have I Got News For You and he hosted ITV's You Cannot Be Serious!
This year the Lux Awards is moving to one of Britain’s most modern and exciting venues, the ballroom at the magnificent new InterContinental London - The O2. The venue can seat 1,000 guests and features state-of-the-art lighting and audio visual equipment.
The drinks reception and after-show party will take place in the dramatic River Suite, which offers unrivalled views across the Thames to the spectacular Canary Wharf skyline.
It is also one of the best connected hotels in London, with both the Jubilee Line Underground station and Thames Clipper jetty on its doorstep. Alternatively, guests can arrive in style on the Emirates Air Line cable car, which directly connects with ExCeL, the location for LuxLive 2016.
