As with funding packages provided by other organisations such as the Carbon Trust and the UK government’s Green Deal, the cost of equipment and installation is paid for from savings made on energy bills.
This means customers should see their costs go down from the start. By the end of the contract they will be reaping the full benefit of their reduced energy consumption.
The service, called Zumtobel Now, offers customers ‘a straightforward exchange of their conventional lighting system for an advanced LED system,’ the company said.
Zumtobel first conducts a preliminary audit of a client’s lighting, then comes up with a solution, timetable and budget.
The service will be available in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The company is also offering a maintenance and inspection service for emergency lighting.
