The company increased the pressure on its rivals by including a five-year warranty on the product range – over 46 products - and a project financing service. The latter expands on the existing UK solar financing program from Hitachi Capital for the commercial and residential market, and offers financing and payment terms to commercial.

Sharp has a wealth of experience in components and luminaires in Japan and the US and we feel that the time is right to bring our business to Europe.’
The range is designed for the European market and includes downlights, high bays, low bays and spots which fit on standard European three-phase track systems. Dali options are also available.
Sharp’s entry will raise expectations about other players ready to move into Europe with mainstream commercial luminaires, notably Samsung.
