Four horticultural lighting trials have been launched in the Netherlands, using colored LEDs.

Dutch companies Villa Gerbera, Gebr. Koot BV, Together2Grow and Slijkerman are testing the solid-state lighting on tomatoes, as well as a string of other plants.
