In the last three months alone, Osram sold LEDvance; LSI acquired Atlas; Holland's Nordeon Group picked up both Lamp Lighting and Schmitz Leuchten; Philips Lighting acquired Luciom; Sweden's Fagerhult bought WE-EF Leuchten; and US controls company Leviton acquired lighting firm ConTech. That's seven since December. And there are more to come as fragmented vendors seek scale, relief and internet technologies in a market raging with more competitive pressure than ever.
