THE LINE-UP for LuxLive 2017 will include the biggest brands in lighting including Philips, Osram, iGuzzini and Samsung, it’s been revealed.
Other major players backing the event this November include Thorlux, ABB, DW Windsor, CU Phosco, Tamlite, Holophane, Lumenpulse, Astro, Aurora and Panasonic.
High tech innovators too, will be out in force, including Bluetooth, Gooee and pureLiFi. They’ll bring cutting-edge digital developments such as sensor-enabled luminaires, downlights with built-in Li-Fi and the latest wireless platforms.
‘We’re delighted that visitors to LuxLive this year will see the full capability of the lighting industry,’ said LuxLive director Ray Molony. ‘Visitors who come to the show for great product won’t be disappointed. There’s been a revolution in the sector in recent years and that’ll be reflected at the event. The incredible digital innovations may capture the headlines but there’ll also be a lot of simply great luminaire designs.
‘The industry has definitely moved beyond energy saving and it can now add value to buildings in lots of creative ways.’
The 2017 outing also includes what organisers are calling ‘the most ambitious educational programme seen in the industry’.
There will be four theatres, two arenas and six dedicated feature areas, each one dedicated to a different aspect of lighting.
At the heart of the show is the Gooee IoT Arena. This centrepiece stage and technology zone is where the digital future of lighting comes to life. Demonstrations, presentations, discussions and break-out talks will focus on connected lighting and the exciting possibilities it’s opening up to engage occupants and control our world.
